kitchenaid artisan stan mixer
As a retired home economist and having used many mixers, I can honestly say this is a joy to use. I haven't made cakes in a long time because it just seemed too laborious and I don't care for those in a box. This takes all of the labor out and is no more trouble than a box mix. But, the results are very rewarding and remind me of those I enjoyed as a child. I have also made whole wheat noodles and nothing could be easier or less expensive. Great product!!
Reconditioned looks and works like new
I needed a mixer for my second home because I was having a big birthday party for my dad and wanted to make his favorite, making carrot cake cupcakes. But I didn't want to pay full price. This mixer was the perfect solution, and thanks to Amazon, it came right on time for the cupcake-baking extravaganza! Plus, KitchenAid is durable, reliable, and the greatest mixer ever. And although this is factory-conditioned, it looks like new.
Great mixer
I chose the reconditioned model due to the significant price savings, and am very happy with my choice. Although the box and manual clearly indicate that the product is reconditioned, and it doesn't come with the pour shield for the bowl, the mixer itself was in perfect condition, and there we just a few very minor scratches inside the bowl. Those scratches are the sort of thing you might get in your first use of the bowl. This mixer is strong, and doesn't seem noisy to me at all. It's certainly MUCH quieter than our hand mixer. Some higher end KitchenAid mixers have a bowl-lift feature, but I actually prefer to be able to tip the whole head backward and out of the way to get the bowl out. So far, we've made banana bread and a few batches of mashed potatoes using this mixer, and are very pleased with the results.
